The Poetry Post Box opened on the 4th of November 2009and already some wonderful poems have been posted. (see Poems Posted links)  Waqqas Choudhiry from Willowbank Primary School posts the very first poem. The Willowbank pupils had been working with poet Gerry Loose just the day before the opening. Gerry was involved in the creation of the Poetry Garden in which the Poetry Post Box is set.  Pupils from St Charles Primary School had also been working with artist Julia Smith over the past few weeks, helping her with the designs for the Poetry Post Box Julia said "They visited the Botanics and sketched plants, insects and animals they saw there and then came up with combinations of them and wrote poems about their creations. The creatures can be found hidden amongst the foliage on the Poetry Post Box" | * * * SUMMER * * * is * * *Here* * *
